Help with KidTab
KidTab is a free allowance and chore tracker for parents and guardians. The released iPhone and iPad app requires iOS or iPadOS 18 or later.
Start with a balance
During first-time setup, add a child and enter the amount you already owe them as a starting balance. For a child you add later, open their profile and use Add Money to record that amount. Set an automatic weekly allowance if that suits your family, or leave it at zero and record earnings manually. Scheduled allowance does not depend on chores or homework being completed.
Record rewards and spending
Create chores with reward amounts and record completions. Add spending when you buy something for a child or give them cash. Use their wishlist to talk about savings goals. KidTab records the amounts; it does not move money.
Share with another guardian
In Settings, open Family Sync, sign in, and enable sync. Invite your other guardian from the app. Both guardians can edit the family’s records. Children do not have a restricted sign-in or a separate request flow.
Have an invitation link?
Open it on an iPhone or iPad with KidTab installed. If the link opens in your browser, open KidTab’s Family Sync settings and use the invitation code from the message. Ask the sender for a new invitation if it has expired.

Email [email protected] with your device, app version, and a description of what happened. Please leave children’s names, balances, and invitation codes out of screenshots unless necessary.
